What is coaching ?

Coaching is a collaborative partnership where the coach and client—or coaching team—work together on equal footing.

In individual coaching, the focus is on helping the individual achieve a specific goal. It empowers the coachee to refine their behavior and decision-making through action-oriented, forward-looking reflection. The process is designed to align the individual’s actions with their core values and aspirations, guiding them toward successful outcomes that resonate with their personal vision.

In team coaching, the emphasis is on improving collective performance and fostering high-functioning collaboration. The coach works with the team to enhance communication, trust, and shared purpose, helping them reach their highest potential as a unit. Through open dialogue and reflection, the team uncovers its collective strengths and resources, learning how to leverage these for greater synergy and results.

In both individual and team coaching, the coach serves as a sounding board and guide, facilitating self-discovery and helping the client or team recognize their strengths and potential. The individual or team remains the true expert on their experiences, ultimately crafting their unique path forward.
